This is an Australian hard plastic doll known as the “Party Girl” doll and she was made by the Australian Doll Manufacturing Co. Pty Ltd from Stanley Road, Ingleburn and Moorebank in NSW. She is 21″ in height and priced to sell as she has some minor faults.

She was an expensive doll in her time and retailed for 5/19/6 (almost six pounds at the time).

She has sleeping blue eyes and appears to be missing the back of her round eyeballs that can only be seen when she is sleeping and her eyes sit back a little but are not broken on the sides. She has her original saran wig on a rubber backing and one piece needs fixing back as has come away from the backing. Her ma-ma no longer works which is not unusual as these deteriorated with age.

She has some wear to her facial painting and she has some paint chips (nose, fingers, toes, etc) but is relatively minor overall and her stringing or bands are all fine. Her clothing is not original to her.
