This is an antique doll made by the firm of Armand Marseille, Germany. She is 16″ in height (more counting her wig).

Her bisque shoulder plate head has no damage. She has her original glass sleeping blue eyes with the usual red accent dot in the corner of each eye and her nostrils. She has delicately stroked upper and lower eyelashes and retains most of her eyelid colouring. She has single stroked eyebrows and an open mouth with her original teeth. Her ringleted wig is a quality replacement, as his her pate. These have not been secured so I can stuff the head to protect the eyes in transit and is a simple job using PVA glue to re-attach.

She is on her original kid leather body that is in good condition with just a couple of small areas requiring a mend. Her half arms are composition and may have been re-painted at some time in her life.

She comes wearing a lovely silk blend pink frock with pin tucks, ribbon and lace that was made by a lady who used to sell these at the Liverpool Doll show. Underneath she has a lovely cotton petticoat and matching pantaloons trimmed with lace, stockings and shoes.
