ANTIQUE GERMAN ARMAND MARSEILLE 390 – 24″ HEIGHT
This is an antique German made doll by Armand Marseille and would date to the 1900’s era. She stands just over 24″ in height.
Her bisque socket head is free from damage and she has stationary set blue glass eyes with some of her original eyelashes poking through. Her markings are clear on the back of her head. Her complexion is lovely with nicely blushed cheeks and no marks to make mention of. She has multi stroked eyebrows and delicately stroked upper and lower eyelashes as well as the red accent dot in the corner of each eye and her nostrils. She has an open mouth with 4 top teeth and a dimple in her chin. Her wig and pate are replacements.
Her body is composition and ball jointed and in very good condition and the stringing is very good.
Her outfit is wonderful and consists of a reproduction antique drop waisted frock that is stunning and was originally purchased from a seamstress years ago at the Liverpool Doll Show. She also has a fabulous matching bonnet, underclothes, knitted socks and black patent like leather shoes.
This doll is ready to display and a gorgeous example of these much loved AM 390’s.
