This is an absolutely stunning doll and represents many hours of work from a talented doll artist despite the doll has not been signed and dated. She would have been made in the early 2000’s.

She is a reproduction German JD Kestner 257 mould and a large and heavy doll at 24″ and displays beautifully and really stands out in a collection.

Her bisque head has wonderful blue stationary set eyes with the rest of her facial features hand painted with lovely stroked eyebrows and delicately stroked upper and lower eyelashes. She has an open mouth with 2 upper teeth and a tongue behind and her blush to her cheeks is lovely and even and nice and bright. She has a quality blonde wig.

Her body is a lovely chunky composition bent limbed body in beautiful condition and she is strung well.

Her outfit has been made for her and is gorgeous and consists of a lace frock trimmed with lace and ribbons and underneath a satin matching petticoat, cotton pantaloons and a vest. Her bonnet matches her outfit.

This lovely large doll would look beautiful in a high chair or pram.
