This child’s china toy tea set would date to around the 1930’s era. It is Japanese made.

Originally this tea set would have been a 4 piece tea set depicting the pig in a bathtub. Most of this set is complete with some similar sized pieces added in later that date from around the same era.

With the pig design there are 4 plates measuring across in diameter 9.5cm, 3 saucers measuring across 7.5cm with 1 having a chip, 4 cups, a teapot with a lid measuring 9cm in height and a 2 handled sugar bowl with no lid.

Added on to it are 3 plates that are white with a worn gold trim and 3 odd cups that are the same shape but with different designs. 1 of these cups is also chipped.

The base of the box is original but is in worn condition and it has no lid.
