This bear was originally purchased in Orange, California. He is 20″ in height so a great sized bear.

He was made by the English firm of Merrythought and has his sewn on tag on his foot and his original swing tag also. He is featured in the book “Teddy Bears & Their Values” by Jacki Brooks and is from Merrythoughts London Series of bears.

He is an all in one bear including his Policeman outfit made from material and includes his Bobby cap. The rest of him is mohair with brown paw pads. He is filled with a mixture of soft and excelsior filling.

He has amber/black eyes and a black embroidered nose and mouth.

He is not a bear that is found often and a wonderful addition to any collection.

His condition is very good with only minimal wear and he’s spent his life with me in a cabinet.
