This is an artist made doll by Valerie Tanner, Australia and she was made in 2015 and clearly signed. She is a large 25″ in height and her name is “Flossie”.

The head, shoulder plate, half arms and legs are coloured bisque and the rest of the doll is cloth. She has armatures in her arms so she can pose them.

She has no damage and has the most beautiful face with large brown stationary set eyes and “real” upper eyelashes. Her painting has been done superbly and she has a black wig that is a mass of curls.

Her outfit has been made for her and is a cotton frock trimmed with lace and ribbon and underneath she has matching pantaloons and also a petticoat. She has been finished off with socks and sparkly black shoes and a red ribbon around her hair.

This doll displays beautifully and buyer will not be disappointed.

She is bargain priced and was much more than this when new. She represents many hours of work from a talented doll maker.
