This doll is a real collectors item and is a one of a kind doll. She is from my personal collection. She stands in height 24″ so a lovely larger sized doll and has no damage.

It is unknown who the doll artist was that made this doll but she has been made superbly and represents many hours of work by a talented doll artist. The mould of the head is “Hilary” who was a Dianna Effner mould from 1987 and is marked clearly on the back of the head.

The head of the doll is wax with hand painted features. The socket head then fits into a wax shoulderplate. She has delicately blushed cheeks, lovely mouth painting to her open mouth and 2 upper teeth. She has blue stationary set eyes and “real” upper eyelashes as well as stroked painted eyebrows. Her auburn wig has been totally hand made and has some waves and a silk ribbon tied to one side.

Her arms and legs are also wax and her torso is cloth. She has minor ageing to her torso.

Her outfit has been made just for her and consists of a fine white voile cotton frock with insertion lace and pleating down the bodice and has a pink silk ribbon tied around her waist. Underneath she has matching pantaloons trimmed with lace that could do with some new elastic in them but holding up. She also has socks and gorgeous hand made pink leather shoes that do up with a gold button with bow embellishments with a buckle on the front of her shoes (one bow needs to be re-glued and currently held on with blu-tak).

If you are after a collectors piece then this doll is it and she displays beautifully.
