This is a gorgeous made artist doll that was made in 2001 and is signed and dated by the doll artist. She is a large 24″ doll (just over counting her wig) and displays beautifully. She has no damage.

Her name is Flossie and she has gorgeous darker coloured porcelain with brown eyes with “real” upper eyelashes. The eyes have changed slightly in colour since being made and with the flash from the camera appear to have a lavender tinge to them.

She has been painted beautifully with lovely shading and blush work. She has a black wig in curls and plaits tied with red ribbons. Her legs and half arms as well as her head are bisque and the rest of her is cloth and done in a darker colour.

Her outfit has been made just for her and is just lovely with a white frock with red polka dots and a red ribbon tied around her waist. Underneath she has a satin petticoat with a tulle piece attached , pantaloons, socks and buckle up shoes.

This doll would have been very expensive and is bargain priced and represents many hours of work.
