This gorgeous reproduction character baby when purchased new was $345 and I am selling it for much less than that. Everything about this doll is just perfect.

The doll measures approximately 35cm in length and was made in 1987 and was purchased from a doll fair in Centrepoint, Sydney originally.

The maker went under the name of Carol Ann Limited Edition Dolls who was known for making Heirloom dolls. The original cardboard tag is still with the doll.

This baby is a full bisque doll and hand made in Australia. He has gorgeous blue glass eyes set stationary and hand painted features that have been done superbly. He has an open/closed mouth with 2 little moulded teeth.

The outfit is made from Swiss voile with cotton lace, smocking and embroidered work. The cap is crocheted from silk cotton and he has hand knitted socks and lovely shoes.

He is designed to sit with his bent limbed body and just ready to display.
