This doll is priced much cheaper than a full antique doll as it is an antique head on a quality reproduction body. The overall height of this doll is 23″ so she is a nice large doll.

The antique head is a “Pansy IV” that was made in Germany for Geo. Borgfeldt & Co and made around the 1900’s era and was distributed through Sears, Roebuck Co around 1914. The head has no damage and her original glass blue eyes have been set stationary. She has multi stroked eyebrows and delicately stroked upper and lower eyelashes as well as the usual red accent mark in the corner of each eye and her nostrils. She has an open mouth with her original row of teeth. She has lovely blushing to her cheeks with minor rub marks on one side (see photo). Her auburn wig is a replacement, as is her pate.

Her ball jointed body is a quality body from the 1980’s – 1990’s era and in good condition and strung well.

She could do with re-dressing and will come wearing the royal blue vintage frock trimmed with lace and ribbon that she has been photographed in. Underneath she has more modern pantaloons trimmed with lace and ribbon, socks and lovely deep blue buckle up velvet type shoes.
