This is an antique doll made in Germany around 1915 and believed to have been made by Max Oscar Arnold as it is a 201 mould and clearly marked on the back of her head. She stands in height approximately 15.5″

She has a bisque socket head with her original blue glass sleeping eyes. She has lost the wax off her eyelids which can only be seen when sleeping. Her auburn ringleted wig is a replacement but the cardboard pate appears antique. She has single stroked eyebrows and delicately painted upper and lower eyelashes and a little dimple in her chin. She has an open mouth with a row of original teeth and her blushing to the cheeks is lovely with nothing to make mention of..

She is on what appears to be her original composition body which is not a quality body but many like these were used during this era. It is in good, played with condition and the stringing is very good.

She wears a vintage frock trimmed with lace and ribbon and underneath she has a petticoat also.

She is a lovely cabinet sized doll and displays nicely.
