This is a fabulous African/American hard plastic Pedigree doll from the 1950’s era and she is a 22″ doll. She is English made and just ready to display “as is”.

This doll has no damage at all and has beautiful amber sleeping eyes with most of the original mohair eyelashes intact. Her eyes open and close and flirt from side to side. Her red lip painting is still lovely and bright and she retains her black astrikan wig and has a red bow attached. The hoops on her earrings are not original.

She is a walker and when walking her head turns side to side. Her ma-ma is non-working which is quite normal for the dolls from this era as the rubber in them deteriorated with age. They can be replaced.

She comes wearing a replacement outfit that suits her perfectly and consists of the red and white striped frock with lace on the bodice and hemline and ribbon around the waist. Underneath she has cotton pants and also has socks and lace up white shoes.

She may have minor marks from a doll that was played with but nothing unexpected from a doll of this age.

This lovely Pedigree would look great amongst any collection.
