This is a vintage reproduction Simon & Halbig 1078 mould and she is the size of a child at 37″ in height and extremely heavy (at least 15kgs or more). I have never had one this large before but she has to go and priced to sell and just has some minor faults! Pick up would be preferred as it will cost quite a bit to post this one.

She was made in 1999 and signed by the doll artist on the back of her head. Her bisque head is free from any damage and has been painted nicely. She has blue glass sleeping eyes and “real” upper eyelashes with one side slightly bent. Her open mouth reveals a row of teeth and she has pierced ears. She has a quality ringleted wig.

Her heavy body is composition with bisque hands. There are some marks on her body that would clean off. She does need some repairs at the base of her torso where the stringing has damaged the holes. These can be repaired by building it up with knead it, hardening and drying. She could also then do with re-stringing despite it’s not too bad but would take the pressure off other joints.

She will come with some clothing that was with her but would easily fit into children’s clothing.

This is one of those dolls that will really stand out in a collection with some TLC and would have cost a fortune to make.
