This wonderful fellow is a real collector’s item and he was made by Merrythought, England in the 1990’s. He is approximately 22″ in height and not often found.

His name was “Lanky Joe” with his long legs with classic black and white striped pants and is from the original 1965 pattern originally used.

His felt face is gorgeous with brown/black eyes, red painted nose dots and a red felt mouth with a white smile. His black hair is plush and whispy.

His arms and shoes are black felt and his torso red velvet. He wears a blue felt jacket and a matching hat.

He has the embroidered tag on the bottom of one foot as well as the sewn in tags.
