This is vintage English Cotton Lace for dolls dressmaking or craftwork and I am selling in lots that contain 20 metres in total but they are in varying lengths as shown in the photos.

This lace is new “old stock” and is 22mm in width. The colour is called Ecru. There are 2 different patterned laces in this lot.

This lace originally came from an auction of a Melbourne Lingerie factory and had been in storage for many many years when the stock went up for auction.

The lace does have stiffening in it but when washed becomes much softer. I have also been told this can be bleached to make it white but haven’t tried it.
