This is a wonderful English pressed faced cloth doll that was made by Norah Wellings and is her famous Islander Doll. It measure in length approximately 17″ so a nice sized doll to display. I believe he may be the ZuZu model from around 1929.

This doll is in good but well loved condition with marks on the velvet legs and some minor holes mostly to the left leg. Despite this it is a very good example of these hard to find dolls.

The pressed face is solid and it has the inserted brown glass eyes and painted toothy smile along with wonderful curly hair.

The original tag is sewn on to a foot.
