This is no doubt an Australian made dolls pram but it has no markings but of similar style to others made in Australia during the 1940’s – 1950’s era. It is ideal to display composition dolls from this era in it.

The actual carriage of the pram with hood up measures approximately 16″ x 8.5″ x 8 3/4″ but total measurements including the wheels and handle measure approximately 21″ x 22″ x 9.5″.

It has a metal carriage painted cream with a blue painted metal handle and blue painted wheels. The blue paintwork looks original and the cream carriage appears to have been re-painted a long time ago. There are areas of rust showing and wear also to the paintwork but all very stable. It retains the black rubber tyres to the wheels. The blue vinyl hood is original but in worn condition with some tears mostly on the corner areas and is in aged condition. One of the metal struts has come away from the rivet but can still hold in place.

It comes complete with vintage bedding that is later than the pram and appears to be 1960’s – 1970’s era and includes a cream satin type material cover, 1970’s green mattress and cover, Holly Hobby type cover and a nautical design pillow. Some of these could be used on other prams also.
