This is a stunning reproduction French Bru Jne that was made in 1986 by a talented doll artist. She stands in height 17″ and is just ready to display “as is”. She is a full bisque jointed doll. She retains her original swing tag and is a fraction of the price paid when purchased new.

Her bisque socket head has been painted superbly in the true likeness of a wonderful Bru doll with glass blue stationary set eyes, multi stroked eyebrows and delicately stroked upper and lower eyelashes. She has the usual red accent dot in the corner of each eye and her nostrils. She has a little dimple in her chin and pierced ears with earrings. Her gorgeous quality brunette wig cascades down her back in ringlets.

Her body is a full bisque jointed body and again painted beautifully with no damage and she is strung well.

Her outfit was made just for her and consists of a mushroom pink frock with a pleated skirt that is made from silk and trimmed with an antique button, and lace and other trims. She has a matching bonnet. Underneath she has an ivory petticoat trimmed with lace and pantaloons to match. She also has stockings and shoes with bows on the front and also has her own little handbag (not photographed).

This doll will delight any collector of quality reproduction dolls and is a fraction of the price of a real antique Bru! She represents many hours of work.
