This is an antique China head that would have been made in Germany and would date to around 1900 or earlier. It measures in height approximately 5 1/4″ (13.5cm) so could also be displayed in a dolls house or as a companion doll to a larger one.

The head is a shoulderplate head and incised with a “2” on it. She has moulded hair painted black. She has a cloth body that has had repairs at some time and is sawdust filled. She has crude white bisque hands and legs with moulded heeled black boots. She has a chip/rough spot on the top of her head. She has had several layers of clothing made for her.
