This English Dean’s Cut-Out Book dates to around 1953. The actual book is however not complete but I do believe after examining the house to make that it is complete and there are also some extras included which I will describe. This is a hard to find set and normally around the $100 mark without postage costs when completely intact. The centre of the book would normally come with some pages of text explaining the history of the house and how it was presented to Princess Elizabeth (which is missing).

Deans made this book with colour cut outs to make a model of the little house that Queen Elizabeth II had when she was a young Princess. There are colour panels that when cut into individual pieces make up the house. Each panel is approximately 13″ x 9 3/4″ and they are in lovely condition.

The previous owner of this book also did several colour copies of the pages – so if you are making the house you can always do a test run first. Or just use the copied ones to make the house and keep the original intact. Also included is some wonderful hard cream card to stick the pieces onto and cut out. The longest pieces of the card (2 long pieces) measure approximately 26″ x 9 1/2″ and the small piece approximately 12.5″ x 9 1/2″,

This would be a wonderful project for someone!
