This is a truely beautiful reproduction doll made by a doll artist in 1990. She is a great cabinet sized doll and stands 15″ in height. I could not find any mould markings on her to determine who she is but I believe she is a French reproduction and her name is “Antionette”.

She has a bisque socket head that has been painted beautifully. She has gorgeous stationary blue eyes and a painted closed mouth. Her eyebrows are multi stroked and she has delicately painted upper and lower eyelashes with the usual red accent dot in the corner of each eye and her nostrils. She has pierced ears with earrings. The bisque head fits in to a bisque shoulderplate where the details of the artist and the name of the doll is. She has a lovely brunette wig.

Her half arms and legs are bisque and the rest of her body is cloth.

The outfit on this doll is just stunning and worth more than half of the total asking price and has been specifically made for this doll. It consists of a fine cotton duck blue frock trimmed with lace, ribbon and flowers with a matching bonnet. Underneath she has a petticoat and pantaloons trimmed with lace and hand embroidery around the edging. She also has socks and shoes but the sole is missing off one shoe.

A stunning doll that displays beautifully and represents many hours of work.
