This large doll is from the 1960’s era and made by the reknowned Canadian company of Reliable. She stands in height approximately 24″ so a great larger sized doll that can easily wear baby’s clothing.

Her head and arms are a softer vinyl and the rest of her is a harder plastic which was how these dolls were made. She is marked on the back with “Reliable, Canada”.

She has lovely auburn rooted hair that appears to be in good condition and nice and full. She has sleeping eyes but is missing lashes on the left side. Her iris’s and pupils have lost some colour and someone has coloured in the pupils to make her look better. There is some wear to her lip painting and she has a hole to insert a bottle.

Overall she is in good condition but does have some marks from a doll that was obviously loved and played with. There are slight colour differences between the vinyl and plastic and again is normal to these dolls.

She comes dressed in a gorgeous 3-6 month year old frock that is stunning with a velvet bodice trimmed with ribbon and roses with an embroidered net overlay over a cream skirt to the frock. It also has a petticoat sewn into the skirt of the frock. She has undies, socks and black shoes.

If you are a collector of dolls from this era she is a great priced doll.
