This lovely Japanese Celluloid doll is from the 1930’s era but he has some faults and needs some TLC so priced cheaply. It has markings on the back of his torso.

His head is in lovely condition with no damage with all the original paintwork in nice bright condition. He has moulded hair painted brown and blue painted eyes and a lovely red mouth. His face needs to be cleaned. He is approximately 20-21″ in length.

He is on his original 5 piece celluloid body. The body is solid and the only faults to this is that around the neck area there are some cracks (see photos). There are no dents. Both arms are perfect. With his legs one has damage underneath his big toe which would be covered when dressed.

At some time in his life he has been re-strung but it now needs doing again as it is loose.

He needs an overall clean, stringing and dressing and will then be lovely in any collection.
