LARGE 1930’s COMPOSITION RESTORATION PROJECT – “AS DESCRIBED” – 22.5″ HEIGHT
This doll may be a great restoration project for someone or could be used for parts.
It is a composition doll from the 1930’s era and would either be Australian or NZ made.
I believe the previous owner has done restoration to this doll but it’s not fantastic.
All the composition parts appear to be re-painted including the facial features and the shoulder plate a replacement as the colouring is different (or this is original and the rest painted). The doll has sleeping blue eyes and an open/closed mouth with painted teeth. The head sits on top of shoulder plate that is attached to the cotton cloth body. There is a hole in one leg that needs filling. There is a non working ma-ma in the cloth torso.
The cloth body has some age marks but is in solid condition and it is likely his blue pants are original so will leave them on the doll.
