This doll is from the New Zealand doll artist, Jan McLean and is one of her vinyl dolls called Amelia. She is 25″ in height (63cm) or 13″ seated (33cm) and is designed to sit.

She is from Jans 2002 Touch Collection.

Amelia was a limited edition doll of 3500 worldwide made and she is Number 9 and signed on the back of her head. She is not in perfect condition so priced accordingly.

As most of her dolls her head and chest areas, half arms and legs are vinyl and the rest of her torso is cloth. There are only very minor marks on her vinyl components.

She has violet eyes that may have changed colour slightly and a lovely black bobbed wig.

Amelia is quite the girl about town in her red and yellow striped zoot suit topped by a black suit velvet overdress with white lace trim. Her bright metallic red shoes show of her colourful character despite these may be replacements as her original shoes were a metallic shiny red. There is minor wear to her glittery red shoes. She no longer retains her red felt hat and has instead a black felt hat trimmed with a rose. There are age stains on the white collar and white cuffs around her sleeves. There is also a stain on her pants as shown.

This is another lovely doll from a wonderful designer and despite her minor faults she displays beautifully.
