GUINEVERE FROM CAMELOT – HARD TO FIND FRANKLIN HEIRLOOM DOLL – PORCELAIN
This doll is considered quite rare and was from the Camelot Series produced by Franklin Heirloom Dolls some years ago and is probably the least found doll of the series.
Her head/breast plate, half arms and half legs are made from fine porcelain that has been hand painted. She has delicate fingers with a moulded gold ring on her left hand.
She is costumed in a bridal dress of champagne crushed silk with a golden crushed velvet overskirt. Her veil (held on by pins) and oversleeve are flat tissue silk. She has her golden crown accented with an Austrian crystal in the centre, surrounded by clear gems. She also has a bridal bouquet of roses with a gold edge to them that was not on the doll when photographed but will come with her. She comes on a stand.
Her height is approximately 16 1/2″ (41cm) and she is the most fabulous doll to display. Even as a stand alone doll she really stands out as her crushed velvet overskirt spans out around her.
She has her tie tag on her wrist and also her Certificate of Authenticity.
