This gorgeous antique doll was made in Germany and incised on the back of her head with “Walkure, Germany, 2 1/4”. She was made by the firm of Kley & Hahn around the 1900’s era and is approximately 20″ in height.

Her bisque socket head has no issues other than a few wig pulls and minor chipping around her pierced ear holes. She has her original blue sleeping blue glass eyes with raised and multi stroked eyelashes along with delicately stroked upper and lower eyelashes as well as the usual red accent dot in the corner of each eye and her nostrils. She has an open mouth with a row of teeth and pierced ears. Her colouring is just lovely and she is a beautifully made doll. Her auburn wig is a quality replacement that suits her perfectly and her pate is also a replacement. Both have been removed to stuff the head to protect the eyes in transit but it is an easy job to re-attach these using PVA (water based glue).

Her ball jointed composition body is in beautiful condition and is strung well.

She comes wearing a beautiful 2 piece outfit made from quality fabric and trimmed with cotton lace with a lovely collar. Underneath she has an antique petticoat, pantaloons, stockings and tie up shoes. She has earrings in her lobes.
