This is one of those items that does not come along very often and is a fabulous advertising piece!

It is a VERY HARD TO FIND original Hoadley’s Confectionery Counter Jar from the 1900’s and I haven’t seen one sell for over 3 years and the last one I saw sold was at ABCR Auctions in 2021.

It is a large 12″ height and has excellent embossing on the front. It has the base mark of M (Victoria) and has a wide mouthed top with a rolled lip and has its original glass topped lid.

It has no damage to the jar and just the maker’s imperfections from the factory process and a bit of tape residue I haven’t cleaned off. The lid has a few chips and it has a scratch across it (not a crack as does not go right through).

It is a heavy piece weighing just under 2kgs and buyer will have to send me an email for a p & p quote.
