EARLY ANTIQUE ALL BISQUE GERMAN DOLL – 6″ HEIGHT
This would is an early all bisque German antique doll and would possible date to pre the 1900’s era. She stands in height 6″. She is unmarked but possibly made by the German firm of Hertwig.
She is bisque and has wire strung arms and legs.
Her facial features are hand painted and she has a long auburn wig made from mohair.
There is a small chip to the top of one leg that can be seen in the photograph and also a factory flaw on one of the painted shoes. Her white socks are slightly molded with lines and then a blue edging painted around them.
Her clothing is very simple and the black skirt is silk.
She has marks on the bisque that are superficial and related to her age.
