This doll is Brandi and she was made in the USA by Ideal in 1971 and is marked on the doll. She is 18″ in height and was Crissy’s Californian Cousin so part of the Crissy Family.

She is a Posin’ Brandi doll with the twisting waist that was also used on Crissy dolls themselves. She has a deep tan complexion with a blonde centre-parted hair with two small braids (ribbons in them added later). Her hair is in beautiful condition and the growing pony tail mechanism works very well. She has painted blue eyes and does wear her original orange jersey swimsuit that is tagged underneath the other replaced clothing. The original swimsuit is in only fair condition with fading and wear.

This is a lovely collector’s doll that has only risen in price.
