This is a celluloid novelty doll that measures 9″ in height and has been made into a hanging pin cushion doll. He is Japanese made.

It has a celluloid torso with the rest being cloth and a crochet hanger has been made on his back to hang him up and the apron with a pocket containing a vintage thimble also looks to have been added later.

He is in great condition but is not a full doll which is why he was likely made up into something useful.
