This is a gorgeous all porcelain doll that was made by a doll artist from a Catherine Mather (Australia) mould. The dolls name is Grace. I do not know the name of the doll artist that made her.

Grace is a hard doll to measure for size as she was made to sit with her legs like they are in the photos. Sitting though she measures in height approximately 14-15″ and in width to display her sitting she is approximately 13″ across.

She is full bisque and strung well. Her features are painted just beautifully and she has stationary blue eyes. She has a blonde wig in ringlets.

Her outfit is just stunning and is made from cream silk with lots of lace and pleating. She has a cotton petticoat underneath as well as silk pantaloons in the same fabric as her frock. She also has a lovely hat that ties under her chin with ribbon and even her own enamelled Grace brooch.

Grace has had 1 repair to an arm socket that cannot be seen as is within the socket.

This artists doll represents many many hours of work and for anyone who has made this doll will know it is priced very cheaply.
