This item is authentic and was purchased in the USA when visiting an exhibition several years ago.

The perspex case contains a small piece of coal that was recovered from the wreck of the Titanic during the 1994 Titanic Research and Recovery Expedition. These sold out very quickly and are collectors items.

It is in as new condition and never been removed from the case and has the Certificate of Authenticity attached to the cardboard surround.
