“Lea and the Summer” is an artist doll that was produced by Ashton-Drake and designed by the acclaimed master doll artist Monika Gerdes and was exclusive to Ashton Drake. She is 24″ (61cm) in length and a gorgeous doll and usually priced at well over $300 on the secondary market.

The head and 3/4 limbs and chest plate are made from real touch vinyl and hand painted for the ultimate in realism. She has a joyful expression with a smiling mouth revealing moulded teeth and a tongue and gorgeous blue stationary set eyes with “real” upper eyelashes. She has a gorgeous blond wig in pigtails down each side trimmed with pink ribbon, a hair clip and a flower. The dolls head rotates and her body is made of soft fabric.

Lea wears her custom designed outfit which consists of red t-shirt, denim dress with ruffle trims, white pantalooons, socks and sneaker like shoes.

Lea is in “as new” condition and retains her swing tag on one wrist and her Certificate of Authenticity. I no longer have her original box.

This collectors doll is just delightful and a wonderful addition to any collector of quality vinyl dolls.
