This antique doll is “as new” and definitely never been played with. She was made by the German firm of Limbach according to my research and stands in height approximately 14.5″. Her condition is “near mint”.

This doll would have been made around the 1920’s era and she has a composition shoulder plate head with beautiful glass sleeping eyes and delicately painted features with a little red painted rosebud mouth. Her wig is set in curls.

She has composition legs and half arms and the rest of her body is a muslin type material that is stuffed with straw, and she has a working ma-ma in her torso which is just wonderful and it’s lovely and loud when you tip her up.

Her clothing is totally original and in pristine condition right down to her socks and tie up shoes. You can still feel the stiffening in her frock.

She comes in her original box that has some paper lacework around it that is in aged but pretty good condition. There is a piece off the end of the box that is within the box and a corner unstapled. There is wear to the original paper tag on the end of the box. The lid also has one corner that has come unstapled.

These antique dolls in “near mint” condition are extremely hard to find and she will delight any collector.
