This is a beautiful example of the much loved artist doll known as Sugar Britches and she measures in length approximately 21″. She is unsigned. I am selling her way under her original cost and her clothing cost this amount when purchased. I believe she was originally made in the 1990’s era.

She has sleeping eyes with “real” lower eyelashes and a quality auburn wig. She has been painted beautifully. Her head and limbs are bisque and her torso is cloth.

The long gown she wears was made from fine cotton voile and then trimmed with lace and embroidered by hand and represents many hours of work and comes with a matching bonnet. Underneath she has a white long satin like full petticoat and matching pants.

She is in perfect condition and with Christmas coming would make a wonderful gift for yourself or someone else who loves these baby dolls and would display beautifully in a cradle or pram.
