ARTIST MADE FRENCH A. MARQUE DOLL DRESSED IN LATVIAN COSTUME
This is a stunning porcelain doll that I suspect was made in the 1990’s but is undated and only has the artists initials on him.
He stands in height approximately 18″ and is dressed in a Latvian National Costume.
His bisque socket head is beautifully painted and he has stationary set blue glass eyes and a brown wig.
The composition ball jointed body is in beautiful condition and is an expensive lacquered ball jointed body. He is strung well.
The costume has been made specifically for this doll and consists of a crushed satin cream coloured top, cream pants, faux fur cap and black boots with leather leggings over them.
