ANTIQUE/VINTAGE DUTCH INSPIRED VASE AND CRUET SET AS DESCRIBED

$50.00

I am selling these together as are both Dutch inspired pieces as described and lovely decorative items despite they do have some faults.

The first is a Dutch girl holding a pot of tulips and attached to a tulip shaped vase behind her. She stands in height approximately 11cm. This piece is German made from the 1900’s era but I cannot make out the writing on the base. It also has a logo and a registered design number. The colours are just lovely in this figurine but unfortunately she has all over crazing which is not so noticeable on the figurine but can be seen on the vase. There is also a hairline crack (or bad craze) down one side of the vase.

The second piece is a hard to find Japanese made cruet set from the 1920’s – 1930’s era with a lustre ware finish. It is marked on the base with both Made in Japan and Foreign. The heads come out of the 2 joined figures on the right to fill with salt and pepper and still retain their original corks and the top lifts off the mustard pot. There is no spoon to this set and the handle at the back has been broken off at some time in its life and lost.

Apart from the damages mentioned there is only minor wear to the pieces.
