This pretty doll is antique and was produced by Max Handwerck, Germany around the 1900’s era. She stands in height approximately 17.5″ so a great cabinet sized doll.

Her bisque head has no damage. She has her original brown glass sleeping eyes with her eyelid wax intact with multi stroked eyebrows. She also has delicately stroked upper and lower eyelashes along with the usual red accent dot in the corner of each eye and her nostrils. She has an open mouth with 4 upper teeth and a little dimple in her chin. She has very minor rub marks to her cheeks that are barely worth mentioning. Her markings are clear on the back of her head. She has a replaced pate and quality vintage wig that will need to be attached as I have left them off to stuff the head to protect the eyes in transit.

She is on her original composition ball jointed body that is in good solid condition but does have wear to the arms as shown in the photos and are covered by her clothing. She also has some wear to the top of her torso that is relatively minor also. Her stringing is fine.

She comes wearing a fabulous antique look vintage frock made from a silk material and trimmed with antique cotton lace and some rose embellishments. Underneath she has cotton pantaloons, stockings (some age marks) and hand made leather shoes.

This lovely doll just needs her pate and wig attaching and she is ready to display.
