ANTIQUE GERMAN ARMAND MARSEILLE 390 – 16″ HEIGHT – FAULTS AS DESCRIBED

$125.00

This is an antique doll made by the German firm of Armand Marseille and is their 390 mould. She is not perfect so priced accordingly and she stands 16″ in height.

She has a bisque socket head with her original blue glass eyes set stationary. Her human hair wig appears to be original to her and is glued down firmly so I have left it as is. She has single stroked eyebrows and delicately painted upper and lower eyelashes. She has what I believe are hairline cracks extending from the inner corner of each eye. This may have occured in the factory making but I do not know for sure. They are not highly noticeable but I mention as much as I can when listing my dolls for sale. She has an open mouth with a row of original teeth and her blushing to the cheeks is lovely with nothing to make mention of. Her markings are clear on the back of her head.

She is on her original composition stick leg body that is in good used condition with wear as expected to a doll of this age. Her antique stockings are attached firmly with thread so I have left them on and not removed them but it does not feel like the lower legs have any damage at all. She has chips to the ends of fingers but mostly on the right hand. Her stringing is fine.

She comes wearing a vintage green frock trimmed with lace and underneath has a green petticoat and matching pantaloons also trimmed with cotton lace as well as a bonnet. These are all vintage hand made clothes. She has no shoes.

She is a lovely smaller sized AM and displays nicely.
