This is a gorgeous antique character baby that was made by Armand Marseille from the 1900’s era. She is a great sized doll at approximately 22″ in length.

She is the very popular 351 character baby and is in beautiful condition and marked clearly on the back of her head.

She has the usual bisque domed head and her painting is beautiful with nothing to make mention of. She has her original blue sleeping glass eyes with her eyelid wax intact. Her head has already been stuffed to protect the eyes in transit and can be carefully removed if the new owner wants to do so (I tend to often leave my stuffed). I can instruct how to do this if required. She has delicately stroked upper and lower eyelashes as well as the usual red accent dot in the corner of each eye and her nostrils. She has an open mouth with 2 bottom teeth. She has some moulded curls and her hair is tinged auburn. There is a small factory fault at the bottom of the head that I have shown in the photo.

She is on her original composition ball jointed bent limbed baby body with the original finish and is strung well.

She comes wearing an antique babys white gown in fine cotton with embroidered work. This is a beautiful garment but does have some holes but I would still prefer antique clothing on these types of dolls. Underneath she has a petticoat trimmed with lace, pantaloons and crocheted bootees. She also wears a beautiful silk crocheted bonnet trimmed with embroidered roses that suits her perfectly.

These beautiful larger antique babies are ideal to display in a high chair or full sized pram.
