This is a USA made doll but I could find no markings on her to identify which company made her but it is likely it was the Amercian Character Dolls company and I believe it is their Sweet Sue doll as found examples with the same hair style and painted mouth. She is approximately 14″ in height.

She is made from hard plastic and is from the 1950’s era and has her original blonde wig with curls at the side and around the back of her wig.

She has sleeping blue eyes that are lovely and clear and she retains all of her “real” upper eyelashes.

She does have some paint missing around the mouth area and it is possible she has had her lips touched up (before I owned her).

She is strung well and comes dressed in a vintage apricot frock with an overlay of lace, knitted undies and USA marked shoes.
