This is an Italian Ratti Doll from the 1940’s era and needs some minor TLC. She is 20″ (53cm) in height and has markings on the back of her head.

Overall the condition of this doll is good. She has lovely blue sleeping eyes that also flirt from side to side and she retains most of her original dark eyelashes. She has her original wig but it needs to be restyled and has lovely original painted lips and blushing to her cheeks. There are only very minor marks to her face.

This doll has been a walker and when you move one of her legs her head turns. One of her legs is loose (not too bad) and her arms need re-stringing for sure. She has very old repairs to both sides of her legs (see photos) and it may be she had the walking mechanism fixed at this time to have both legs walking but I don’t know for sure. She has a non working ma-ma. The body does have marks from a doll that was played with and some minor paint chipping.

She comes wearing a vintage frock only.

She has a pretty face and with some TLC will be a lovely doll amongst any collection.
