This Ballerina ornament is from the 1940’s era and on her stand she is approximately 18cm in height (7″).

She is a glazed china twirling ballerina and is in lovely condition.

Her china base with metal spike that the figurine stands on is marked on the base with “Foreign” so I believe she is Japanese made. There is a factory flaw on the base extending from the kiln hole.

Her skirt appears to be original apart from a bit of lace added later at the top and her bodice is painted. Her arms are not jointed and have been joined to the torso in the factory making of her.
