1930’s USA MADE COMPOSITION GIRL – APPROXIMATELY 18″ HEIGHT
This is a USA made composition doll from the 1930’s era but she has no maker’s marks to identify her. She stands in height approximately 18″.
Her composition overall is in good solid condition with only minor crazing, marks or chips. She has remains of pink/red polish on her finger tips. She has been re-strung at some point in her life.
She has clear brown sleeping eyes with most of her original eyelashes intact. Her open mouth reveals some top teeth and it appears she has had a paint touch up at some time in her life to her mouth painting prior to me owning her. Her wig is brown mohair.
She comes wearing a gorgeous outfit that I believe is from an early Australian Pedigree doll and has a tag that says “Roby Wear, Sydney”. It consists of the frock and matching bonnet and in lovely condition (just this set is worth at least $50). Underneath she has a petticoat and pants and also has socks and Fairie Glen wear shoes with one having the heel missing.
She displays beautifully and a lovely composition doll from this era.
