1930’s IDEAL COMPOSITION SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL – 21″ HEIGHT – CRAZED & ONLY MINOR RESTORATION
This is a composition Ideal Shirley Temple Doll that was made by the USA company of Ideal in the 1930’s and is a nice large size of 21″. She is not perfect so priced accordingly.
She is full composition with crazing all over but is stable. She had a small piece of composition missing on the head which is covered by her blonde replaced wig in ringlets.
She has her original eyes with the usual crackling that occured to these eyes from composition dolls from this era and some of her original eyelashes are missing. The eyes open and close with ease. She has her original row of teeth and wear to the red paint around her mouth that I have not restored. She has the usual dimples in her chin and her markings on the back of her head and torso.
Her frock and petticoat may be original but is not tagged and if it is not it is from the same era and has been laundered. The pantaloons she wears are later and her socks and shoes may also be original but the shoes do have broken straps.
She is strung well and holds her head up nicely.
