This is an all bisque Japanese doll from the 1920’s era and she is 8″ in height.

Her previous owner was Lila Rait who was the author of “Through the Nursery Window”.

She is Japanese made and has no damage but her stringing is a little loose.

She has lovely moulded hair painted blonde/auburn and painted facial features. She is marked clearly on her back.

She has moulded socks and red painted shoes with some paint missing. She does have the remnants of an old rubber band (that can be picked off) around her torso which I presume may have held up some earlier clothing.

Her dress is a later vintage red and white frock trimmed with red ribbon.
