This is a pure silk women’s petticoat but could also be worn as a nightie. It would date from around the 1920’s era and is hand made.

It is in lovely condition and a beautiful soft silk and I could find no noticeable damage at all.

It is a relatively large sizing and measures from underarm to underarm across the front approximately 18.5″ in diameter and total length from the top of the straps to the hemline is approximately 52″ so is quite long.

I estimate this would be Australian Size 14-16.
